Can men get HPV?


Yes, men can get HPV and are usually the reason women become infected. While HPV infection in women can lead to cervical cancer, men usually get either genital warts or suffer no effects at all (except that they can infect women). In some rare cases, HPV in men has been linked to anal cancers. This link is currently being investigated.
