What are the symptoms of hepatitis B?


As stated in a previous question, many individuals infected with HBV do not show any signs or symptoms. The older you are, the more likely you are to have symptoms. When symptoms do develop, they generally include:

yellow skin or yellowing of the whites of your eyes (jaundice)

tiredness

loss of appetite

nausea

abdominal discomfort

dark urine

clay-colored bowel movements

joint pain
