Hepatitis

Can hepatitis be sexually transmitted?

Hepatitis B is often sexually transmitted. The virus is one of the most robust viruses out there (it is believed to be about 100 times more infectious than HIV) and is found in blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. Hepatitis C may not be as easily transmitted through sexual contact and researchers are not quite sure how often transmission occurs this way. Hepatitis A may be spread through anal or oral contact during sex.
